Still No AF, But We Have a Tentative Schedule!

I still haven’t got my period yet, but I spoke with one of the nurses this afternoon and as long as I get it between now and Sunday, I will go in for an ultrasound and blood work on Monday at 10:00 a.m. (while Sean will be at his Summer Arts Camp, for two hours, which will be perfect timing!) I have started spotting a little bit, so I am guessing “AF” will show up in the next 24 hours or so. She said that I will most likely start my stimulation medications on Monday evening (June 4) and then have monitoring appointments on Wednesday (June 6) and Friday (June 8) mornings of that week at the Orland Park office. Then the following Monday ( June 11) morning I would likely have one more monitoring appointment at Orland Park and then Tuesday (June 12) morning I would go downtown to the River North office for monitoring there, since we would be getting close to the Egg Retrieval (ER).

Based on the protocol that our RE discussed with us for this 2nd IVF cycle, he wants to try to take the eggs at least a day earlier this time, so I would venture to guess that I might do the “trigger” HcG shot the evening of Tuesday, June 12, with our ER being the morning of Thursday, June 14 (Flag Day)! But, it could go a day or so either direction. Thus, my Embryo Transfer (ET) will likely be on or around Tuesday, June 19! It feels good to have a better sense of when things could be happening over the next few weeks and I wanted to share! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers! We are visiting my parents today and I don’t want to stay on their computer too long, so I will sign off. If I don’t post again before then, I will definitely check in on Monday, after my appointment, to update about how goes and confirm the tentative schedule for the rest of this cycle! I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend! 🙂
