Joy

in Bob, Healing, Sean

The pastor who married my sister Meg and brother-in-law Bill said in his sermon, during the ceremony, that in preparing with them for their special day the word that seemed to embody most Meg and Bill’s plans for their wedding and life together was “joy.” I think they succeeded in making their wedding day extremely joyful and I wish them much peace, love and joy in their life together. As promised, here are some of my favorite joyful pictures from their wedding day, taken by family and friends (we don’t have the proofs from the professional photographer yet):

The Bride & Groom

Daddy getting Ring Bear Sean dressed in his tux.

The Beautiful Bride

Ring Bearer & Matron of Honor (that’s me!)

Me & Bob (my prince charming)

Meg & Mom

The Wedding Party

Me & my sister Meg

P.S. Thank you for your support and comments related to my last post. It helps so much when I am having hard days to be reminded how much you care and that I am not alone in my grief and healing. Also, thank you for the birthday wishes for Sean! He had an awesome fifth birthday yesterday and we look forward to continuing his birthday celebration with family and friends this weekend.
