Thank you for your comments, emails, thoughts and prayers since my post on Wednesday. We really appreciate your support during this very difficult time.

Last night Bob and I decided that we wanted to go ahead and name our baby girl and chose for her the name Molly. Sean really loves her name and for awhile has wanted to name our baby Molly, if and when we were to find out she was a girl. We know that part of why Sean likes the name Molly is because the character Andy, in the movie “Toy Story,” has a younger sister Molly. Anyway, since we don’t know how much time we have left with Molly and if we’ll ever get to know her outside of my uterus, we like the idea of being able to bond more with her now, through naming her.

We want to be clear that we are doing this for us and we don’t expect any of you to refer to Molly by her name. We recognize that some people may be uncomfortable referring to our unborn baby girl by her name. That said, you are more than welcome to refer to Molly by her name, when referring to our baby girl, if you want to and/or if you are comfortable doing so.

I have some other updates to share and will do so shortly in a separate post, however I wanted this post to be devoted to sharing our baby girl’s name.

Kathy~I have only recently become aware of your pregnancy and the challenges you have been facing. I think Molly is a beautiful name! May your faith continue to strengthen and comfort you every step of the way. You are all in my prayers.

What a nice way to have picked her name, letting Sean be involved in it all … I loved reading it 🙂

I know this all happened a long time ago, but for me, reading it now for the first time it's all so fresh… wow.

All I can think is how much you've been through.

Hugs,

michelle
