Willpower! I know I have got it…

Today I am 7dp5dt (12 dpo)! ๐Ÿ™‚ Only 4 more days until our Beta on Monday…

I am fighting the urge to POAS big time, as more and more women in one of my IVF/FET online support groups, who have Betas scheduled close to mine, have taken HPTs and are getting BFPs!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

I am so excited for them and there is so much positive energy floating around with the group of women, it makes me very very curious… ๐Ÿ˜‰

However, I am determined not to POAS and to hold out until Monday for the Beta!

I think I can, I think I can, I know I can, I know I can…

I WILL WAIT UNTIL MONDAY FOR THE BETA AND WILL NOT TAKE AN HPT! ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s all about the self talk…

Do you believe me?! ๐Ÿ˜‰

In other news…

Sean’s field trip got cancelled today (due to the uncertain potentially stormy/windy weather) and rescheduled for November 1st! He was disappointed initially, but when he got to school (they ended up having a regular preschool class in lieu of the field trip) they had a “movie day” and ate popcorn (since his teachers didn’t have a lesson plan prepared), both of which he LOVES!!! So he didn’t seem to mind so much after that! He didn’t end up napping this afternoon, but that was okay. We just had a low key day. We played some of his Shrek themed games that Bob’s parents gave Sean for his birthday, which were fun! We attempted to play checkers (only with Shrek and Donkey game pieces) and Sean is getting better at the concept, though more than anything he really likes the “king me” part! ๐Ÿ™‚

One of my neighborhood playgroup mommy friends and I did end up visiting our friend who had her baby girl on Monday! We drove downtown to the hospital Monday evening, where she was and her baby girl is beautiful and so darn cute! Our friend and her baby girl came home yesterday afternoon and the whole family seems to be adjusting well, though not getting a lot of sleep (which is to be expected)! If it works out, Sean and I might go visit tomorrow afternoon after nap time, since the baby girl’s oldest brother is one of Sean’s best buddies! Sean is also excited to meet his good buddy’s baby sister! ๐Ÿ™‚

My sister’s interview on Tuesday went very well and last I spoke with her it seemed that things were going to be taken to “the next stage” of the process. The next stage was some kind of personality profile and if that went well, which of course it should, then her executive recruiter gave her the impression she would probably be getting an offer soon! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you for all of your support, positive thoughts and prayers for our friends’ family with their new baby girl, my sister with her potential new job and of course Bob, Sean and me, as we anxiously await our Beta and then the results on Monday! ๐Ÿ™‚
