in FET #1, Sean

Well, today I am 3dp5dt or 8 dpo (3 days past 5 day transfer or 8 days past ovulation)! 🙂 Only 8 more days until our Beta blood test to determine if we are pregnant! 🙂

I discovered the other night that I only have enough estridol pills to get me through Sunday evening (the night before my Beta). I am suppose to be taking them at least until the Beta (so I would need one for Monday morning) and then I am not sure, depending on the outcome of this FET, if I am suppose to continue or not. I will call our clinic tomorrow to inquire what I should do… I am sure it won’t be a big deal and we will either order more or barrow one or two from our clinic or some other option, such as doing my Beta earlier on Friday, but I doubt it! 😉

My sister found a wedding dress yesterday while we were out searching for one with my mom, which was a lot of fun! The dress is and she looked beautiful! 🙂 We also enjoyed a nice leisurely lunch in between bridal shop appointments at a T.G.I.Friday’s restaurant, which was very yummy and the company was great too! 🙂 It had been awhile since I had been wedding dress shopping with anyone, since the last time I stood up in a wedding and/or got married myself was in the year 2000! 🙂 I forgot what a good time it can be to watch someone try on bridal gowns and give feedback!

We are having a mostly low key day at home. Bob and I went to church this morning, while Sean was at Sunday school. It was weird and sort of nice to actually be able to participate more (especially in terms of listening/hearing what was going on during the readings, homily, etc.) on our own at mass. But I also kinda missed having Sean with us, as he usually is. This was only his third time going to the Catechesis of the Good Shepard program they offer for preschoolers at our parish a few Sundays a month during 10:00 a.m. mass. It is a Montessori based religious education/formation program and Sean seems to be enjoying it.

After church we made a quick stop at the grocery store, since I am not supposed to be doing heaving lifting or exerting, it is easier to go with Bob during these ART cycle “two week waits.” Sean took a good nap after lunch, which allowed Bob and I to rest too, while watching the Chicago Bears unfortunately lose to the Minnesota Vikings when their kicker made a career record 54 yard field goal, when they were tied with 4 seconds left on the clock! 🙁 Sean recently woke up from his nap, so I am going to go spend some time with him and Bob. Right now I hear them playing “Go Fish!” (the card game) in the living room and it is too cute! 🙂

Hope you all are having a great weekend! In some ways 8 days seems like a long time to wait to find out if this cycle worked and in other ways it doesn’t! 😉 Please keep those positive thoughts, sticky vibes and prayers coming our way! 🙂

I was told to stop my estrogen patches once I got the positive Beta, so that may be why you only have enough to last through Sunday.
