Thank you for your support of and enthusiasm for my fellow writers and me at The Today Voice since we launched our new writing project last week.
I especially appreciate those of you who took the time to comment on my first post over there and share your thoughts on the prompt for week one here and/or there.
The prompt for this week is:
Describe a typical day in your life. What do you dread the most? What do you look forward to?
I wrote my first draft of this post fairly quickly, but then struggled to get try to make it more concise. In the end I gave up and decided that it was okay for it to be on the long-winded end of the spectrum, as I truly want to give readers a sense of a typical day in my life.
As Thursday’s Voice, today is my day and here is a link to my second post:
This week I have enjoyed reading about the different experiences and perspectives of my fellow authors at The Today Voice. I also appreciate the various writing styles that others use which contributes to the uniqueness of their voices.

Friday’s Voice: Amanda Kasper (post will be live at noon EST on Friday, July 13th)
Though it has only been a little over a week since we began this writing project, I am loving being apart of The Today Voice. I hope that you will continue to follow our journey and share your thoughts on our posts “52 weeks, 5 voices, 1 day at a time.”
You can follow us on Twitter @TheTodayVoice and “like” our Facebook page here.
What does a typical day in your life look and feel like?
What do you dread the most? What do you look forward to?
Please share your thoughts in the comment section of my post on The Today Voice, here on my blog or in a post on your own blog and then let me know/share a link so I can read it.

My day actually looks a lot like yours … though my son is at day camp for the summer, so he’s occupied during the day. And there’s no sleeping in … everyone has made sure of that. Some days I wish for teenagers. 😉
