Two of my friends recently started a blog. It is different than the ones that I typically read and follow, as they are not writing about parenting, infertility or loss. But being that I care about them and this new venture in their lives, I want to support them.
It is also really cool to be able to follow a blog from the very beginning. Other than my own, I have only been able to do that a handful of times. I look forward to watching how their space and their writing evolves over time.
So what do Heather & Tina blog about? In their own words:
We are late to this whole blogging thing. One professional and one amateur designer. We love a good design/lifestyle blog. We obsess over organic, sustainable and humane food sources. We would have chickens if our other halves would allow it.
Both subjects are ones that honestly didn’t interest me that much before I started reading and following their blog. However, you know when you really care about a person, so much that you want to learn more about what is important and special to them? And then after spending some time getting to know why they like what they do, you actually start to find their passions worthwhile yourself. This is one of those times for me.
Heather & Tina are inspiring me to want to care more about how I design and decorate the space that my family and I live in and more importantly what we eat, where it comes from and how it is made. Which is pretty awesome.
So if these topics interest you and you are curious to learn more, swing by Heather & Tina’s new space. I promise clicking over is worth your time. In addition to being incredibly creative designers and knowledgeable healthy eaters/foodies, these two ladies are also pretty darn good writers. So check them out and let me (and them) know what you think of their blog. I know they would love for you to visit!

I would love to have chickens if Matt would be able to stand it!
Thanks so much Kathy! We love the support. I have a new appreciation for bloggers and the work and time that goes into it now. And, we've only been doing it a couple of weeks. Even though I'm not a mom, nor am I experiencing infertility issues, I really enjoy reading your blog. I look forward to seeing a new post pop up on my reader. You have inspired us too!
Thanks Kathy! Thanks for writing a whole post about our new blog. I hope that we can continue to inspire you as much as you inspire us!
