Just a quick post to share two special things about today…
1) Five years ago today, I got my first positive home pregnancy test, through which Bob and I found out that we were pregnant, for the first time, with the amazing little miracle that was/is our sweetheart and now four year old son Sean! It was a very exciting day in our life and the days, months and years since Sean joined our family have been wonderful! We feel very blessed and lucky to have such a kind and joyful son.
2) Though I have felt things that may or may not have been Baby Benson moving around over the past month or so, it may have very well also been gas that I was feeling. Well, I am happy to report that at least twice this afternoon I very clearly felt what I know to be fetal movement (from my past experience being pregnant with Sean)! Though we still have no idea how this pregnancy will play out and what our baby’s fate will be, feeling movement reassures me that our baby is still alive, at least for now. It also helps me to feel more connected to our child and I find that encouraging right now during this time of uncertainty.
Thank you for your continued support, encouragement, kind words, comments, emails, phone calls, thoughts and prayers. I am still working my way through the awesome emails we have received from so many of you showing your amazing care and love for us. So if you haven’t received a reply yet, I am getting there. I could probably share a lot more about this past week in our life, but am not very motivated to post right now. I will be back sometime soon. Take care and God bless.

I was thinking recently about how the September Moms were coming up on our 5 year BFP anniversaries — mine was yesterday. Happy Anniversary!! 🙂
Enjoy those little kicks and bumps Baby Benson is giving you… I have the feeling they are the first of many. (((hugs)))
