Lucky 27!

I am not superstitious or anything… 😉

But I happened to notice that my last entry posted at exactly 7:27 p.m., well “27” is my sister and her best friend’s (since elementary school) lucky number. When they met, in I want to say like the 3rd grade, one of their lucky numbers was 2 and the other’s was 7. They decided to put them together to make “the ultimate lucky number!”

So when I noticed the time of my last post was 7:27 p.m. and recalled that two major people/things I blogged about were my sister hopefully getting this new job she wants and us finding out that maybe we are actually pregnant, I had to see it as a good sign!

Also, when Bob and I were in Vegas in June we had lost almost $200 from playing blackjack and craps. At some point during our second to last day, I watched some other people playing roulette and decided to start playing as well… I started betting straight up on Bob, my sister’s and my lucky numbers (which are 14, 11 & 27 respectively) and then two combo bets on the groupings of 6 numbers that included our lucky numbers! Well, over the course of that evening, the two groupings of 6 numbers came up almost every other time, from which I would essentially win my initial bet back and then Bob’s 14 came up once, Meg’s 27 came up twice and my lucky 11 came up FOUR TIMES!!! So anyway, we won our $200 back and it certainly was a fun, not to mention lucky night! 🙂

So I do have to admit, if you haven’t already figured it out… I really am a bit superstitious and I do believe in signs! 🙂

Hopefully my last post hitting at 7:27 p.m. is yet another good omen of more awesome things to come for both my sister and me! 😉
