I am happy to report, as we drive back to MI from our ET this morning, that we are once again “pregnant until proven otherwise” (PUPO)!!! 🙂 One grade 2bb embryo was transferred into my uterus at about 11:45 a.m.
Our RE was not doing procedures today, but we were very impressed with the one who we got! He explained that they like for blastocyst stage embryos to be between 1aa – 2bb at the time of transfer to give them a good chance for survival. So he seemed pleased with ours and we were to!
We did find it interesting that with our 1st IVF our RE had not told us about between 1aa – 2bb being what they like to see, but we figure it may be because that embryo was 3bb and he probably didn’t want us to be down about our chances for success that cycle.
We are now going to stop for lunch, en route back to MI. Bob is driving very smoothly and I am feel very calm and relaxed. If I feel up to it I will post more after lunch, when we get back on the road. As usual, I have some memorable stories to share about this ET experience!
