I guess right now no news is good news! 🙂 Not too much going here, just enjoying the nice weather and trying not to get too anxious for Sunday. I am wondering how our little embryos our doing, but am not sure if they will update us tomorrow when we get the call with the time for Sunday or if we won’t find out their status until the ET on Sunday. Since we are only going to be putting back one, we are just hoping and praying that at least one makes it to then and though we know there is a pretty good chance, with 7 still dividing as of yesterday, we don’t want to take that for granted.
Today Sean slept in a bit and thus so did I! We spent a relaxing morning at home and then after lunch (since we decided to skip his nap) headed off to the library and then met a neighborhood friend and her son at the park. Sean is fickle when it comes to park going and sometimes only wants to stay for 10 – 15 minutes. Well today we stayed for 2 hours and 40 minutes!!! I couldn’t believe that he lasted that long! I think there were many factors that kept his interest, one being his love of trains and this park being right next to a freight train track. Sean affectionately refers to this local park as “Freight Train Park” and was delighted to see a total of 5 freight trains pass through today! Sean and his friend also played well together and bounced around from the playground equipment, to playing in the sand at the volleyball court, to chasing each other around the park and of course watching the freight trains go by! It was nice and relaxing for me to catch up with his friend’s mommy (my friend) while we watched our children play.
The weather report continues to look great for this weekend! If I feel up to it in the morning I am hoping to hit a few rummage sales with one of my neighborhood friends who also enjoys finding a good bargain. I also checked out the Brookfield Zoo free admission pass at the library today in case Bob, Sean and I feel inspired to go visit the animals tomorrow afternoon. Besides that I may try to get a few more things done around the house and then take it easy in preparation for the ET on Sunday! I will keep you posted as events warrant or I feel like rambling on… Posting here seems to help me work through my feelings about this experience and keeps me from stressing too much about it. It’s kinda like journaling with an audience that you know is cheering for you! 😉 Thanks for reading and for keeping Bob, Sean, our 7 little embryos and me in your thoughts and prayers!
