IMG_6049.JPG Is this part of your vocabulary?

Do you think often about what you *should* be doing?

I had a great session with my therapist today. She encouraged me not to should so much.

She suggested I replace that word with something else.

For example:

What would I like to do?

What would you like to do?

What would we like to do?

She pointed out how using *should* can make someone feel versus other words.

I love when she helps me reframe the way I look at and think about things like this.

Do you know what I mean?

Do you should yourself much?

How do you feel when that happens?

Something for all of us to chew on, this tasty Tuesday…
