I am not sure how I didn’t know about or come across this website before today. I have been aware of Carly Marie’s breathtaking Names in the Sand ministry, in honor and memory of her son Christian, since soon after she began it 2008. It meant the world to me when Carly wrote our daughter Molly’s name in the sand, almost three years ago, in November 2008 and every time I look at the photograph it still warms my heart and brings me comfort. However, today was the first time that I discovered yet another incredible service that she and a fellow bereaved mother Franchesca began and offer to those who have experienced pregnancy loss, infant death and/or infertility.

Lost for Words cards fill an significant void in the greeting card industry and I was moved (almost instantly) to tears (more like sobbing actually), as I looked at some of the beautiful images that they created for these cards and even more so when I read the sentiments that these two amazing women use as captions on them. If you haven’t been to their website before, I encourage you to check it out.

If you or someone you love has lost a baby or struggled with infertility, there are some truly awesome cards on Lost for Words that you may want to take a look at and consider purchasing. I know that I plan to order some for friends and family who have lost babies and dealt with infertility and it would mean so much to me if I ever received a card like this from loved ones in my life.

Today I feel grateful for having spent time on Carly and Franchesca’s Lost for Words website and I hope that their ministry will bring much needed healing, peace and comfort to those who are grieving the loss of a child(ren) and/or on a journey through infertility.

Hi… here from ICLW 🙂 I am also going through secondary infertility after losing our little daughter to heaven 18 months ago. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Carly does such amazing work… we have her name in the sand photo up on our wall and it warms my heart too every time I walk past it. I have a private blog at newyearmum2.blogspot.com… but happy for other blogging IF/BLMs to have access 🙂 Looking forward to sharing this journey with you xoxo

Hi and welcome! 🙂 I am glad that you found me through ICLW! Nice to *meet* you. I am sorry to hear that you are dealing with SIF and that you also lost a baby girl. (((HUGS))) It does help so much to be able to go through this journey with other IF/BLMs who "get it." Carly is incredible and I am glad to hear that she wrote your daughter's name in the sand too. Those "little things" make such a big difference when part of you had died. I look forward to getting to know you better and will visit your blog and request access soon, so that I can follow you and comment on your blog too!

Thank you so much for sharing! I will have to look into this. I'm so sorry to read about your loss…as someone who has never been able to see a BFP. I cannot imagine the devastation of comin so close and losing such a beautiful little one. Sending prayers your way as I'm sure the pain will always be a part of you. Blessings…
