A Wish and a Prayer for Molly’s Godparents

Molly’s Godparents, my sister Meg and her husband Bill (pictured here on their wedding day last September), are working with The Cradle (in Evanston, Illinois) to adopt a child.

The Cradle encourages couples waiting to be matched to network, as many adoptions are identified from outside the agency (even out of state). Meg and Bill (and I, as an excited aunt-to-be) would greatly appreciate it if you could share the link below with anyone you know who might be considering adoption:

Please keep Meg and Bill, as well as birth parents considering adoption, in your thoughts and prayers as they prepare to adopt/to be matched with a child. Meg and Bill are an awesome aunt and uncle to our son Sean. I know that they will continue to be great with our new baby girl (due to be born sometime in the next few weeks). Meg and Bill were amazing when I was carrying Molly and then when she was born and died. They have continued to support us and to help us to honor our daughter/their baby niece’s short, but very special, life and memory. I have confidence that Meg and Bill will be wonderful parents and I look forward to the day when they get to bring their baby home to love and care for.

I like think that in the same way I believe our Molly-girl had a hand in bringing her new baby sister to our family, that Molly will also play a part (from Heaven) in bringing her Godparents/Aunt Meg and Uncle Bill their child/her cousin in hopefully the not too distant future.

Thank you for reading this and thank you in advance for checking out the link to Meg and Bill’s adoption profile, as well as sharing it with anyone you know who might be considering adoption. Take care and may God continue to bless you and your loved ones.

My sister adopted last year and my niece has brought such joy to their (and our) life. Sending you prayers and hopes that your sweet sister and brother in law will be matched with their child soon!

I adopted my son 2 1/2 years ago and I am in the process of adopting again…just waiting for a match. Tell them to be patient and just keep as many options open as they can. I can't imagine my life without my son. I truly believe that he was meant to be my child. The right baby for them will come along when the time is right for that baby and those parents to come together.
