The Tuesday morning post.

in FET #1, Sean

I just got back from my Tuesday morning walk with two neighborhood friends. Bob just left for work and Sean is still sleeping. So I decided to try to get a post in before he wakes up!

On the FET front, I got my meds ordered yesterday (Monday) and they are due to be delivered today. I have done three nights of Lupron injections and they are going well. It took some getting use to, after not having done shots in my leg since our 2nd IVF cycle that was converted to IUI (IVF#2 was all stomach and rear end injections), but they haven’t been bad.

I started spotting this morning, so my period should be here within the next day or so. My next appointment will be this Friday morning, for blood work and ultrasound. If all looks good that day, then on Saturday I will start building my uterine lining with estraderm patches and estrace vaginal pills! As far as side effects from the meds, I have had a few headaches since I began the Lupron on Saturday and I recall that happening in the past. But besides that, so far, so good!

Sean is awake now, so I am off to go get him dressed, breakfast and take him to school! I still have to share some more cute Sean stories from the past week or so and will definitely do so soon!

Thank you again for your continued support of me and my family as we enter into our 4th ART cycle/FET #1. Your positive thoughts and prayers mean the world to us and we feel very grateful to know that so many people are pulling for us.

I also have special intention and ask that you please pray for some members of our extended family that are going through a very challenging time in their lives. In effort to respect privacy, I am not sharing the details here, but would appreciate your thoughts and prayers for strength and healing during this difficult and uncertain time.

I am glad that everything got sorted out with your insurance and meds for this coming cycle.

It must be a very difficult time for you and your family. Everyone is dealing with their own pains and concerns but reading your posts for a while have given me the oppotunity to “feel” what a wonderful attitude you have about everything, you are amazing!

I send you a big hug!
