Just another day?

Good morning! Today I am 10dp5dt (15 dpo). I can’t believe that today is finally here and that one way or the other, we will know the outcome of this cycle by this afternoon! It’s weird for me to think that today might be the day that we find out we are expecting, for the first time in almost two years, or it might just be another (somewhat normal) day, besides potentially finding out that this cycle was not successful.

Exactly two years ago today (August 17, 2005) I took an early home pregnancy test (HPT) and found that we were pregnant with our second angel baby. Though our joy was short lived, when I started spotting two days later, the 48 hours that we believed we were expecting again were wonderful! I would so love to get news like we did this day two years ago, today, but have the outcome go our way this time…

I am excited, I am nervous, but overall I am all pretty neutral about what today may bring. I know the odds are against us. However, I also know that it is possible that we are pregnant right now! 🙂 I guess all I can do know is show up for the blood test, in about two hours, and then wait (and pray like crazy)!

As an aside, for those of you that follow So You Think You Can Dance, I thought last nights season finale was awesome and I was ecstatic that my favorite dancer, Sabra, was also “America’s favorite dancer!” It may be the first time the contestant I liked best in a reality show, and actually took the time to vote for, actually won! Maybe that is a good sign for today?! Sabra won SYTYCD last night and maybe today we will finally get our BFP (big fat positive)?!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for all of your support, encouragement, positive thoughts, sticky vibes and prayers for this cycle (whatever the outcome)! I will be back in about 7 – 8 hours when I know if our Beta blood test was positive or negative.
