ET will be Tuesday!

in IVF #2 (second try), Sean

I just a call letting me know that we will be going with a day 5 embryo transfer (ET) on Tuesday! She said that all 9 embryos are still dividing! We will get a call on Monday letting us know the exact time for the ET on Tuesday. Please say a prayer for our 9 little embryos that they continue to divide and grow. I asked her if she knew anything about the quality of the embryos today. She said that she didn’t know, but that we would find out more at the ET.

When I called my mother-in-law yesterday to tell her that 9 of the 11 eggs had fertilized, she said was excited about her “9 little grandchildren” embryos, in addition to the 5 fully developed grandchildren (ranging in age from 5 years to an infant) that she already has! Too cute!

Today my parents are watching Sean, yet again (thank you mom & dad!), while Bob and I attend the wedding of one of Bob’s extended family members. This was the wedding that at one point I wasn’t sure I would be able to make it to, so I am very happy that we will be there today to celebrate with Bob’s family!

Thank you for your continued support, thoughts and prayers! I am looking forward to Tuesday and hopefully being Pregnant Until Proven Otherwise (PUPO) again, at least for a little while!

P.S. I just called my mom to tell her that the ET will be Tuesday. Sean answered the phone (which is his new thing, that he loves to do) and said that they were outside playing. When my mom got on the phone she said that they were playing dodge ball! We had watched the movie Chicken Little yesterday, in which some of the characters play dodge ball, and apparently Sean wanted to try it. Anyway, I just had to share, as I don’t know how many grandma’s play dodge ball with their grandchildren! 😉

Great news on the babies, Kathy! Hang in there — I found the wait between ER and ET to be the most stressful time.

You had a GREAT fertilization rate and I am so glad they are all still developing!
I will be thinking of you tomorrow!
